Are you ready for an e-mtb journey through crests and valleys, from the sea to the mountains and back, to discover incredible locations and exciting single tracks?

This e-mtb tour in the spirit of All Mountain covers a long loop that starts and finishes on the western side of the Ligurian coast, in Finale Ligure. The furthest point of the tour is Valcasotto (in the province of Cuneo) at the foothills of Bric Mindino mountain.

At the heart of the itinerary we will discover the Piedmontese Val Casotto and Val Corsaglia, fascinating valleys known for their wild and challenging sections and history. The places were named by Napoleon Bonaparte during his difficult journey back to France. The main purpose of the tour is to explore: there is no need to rush, we will have all the time to appreciate the charming natural and historical context, away from the usual tourist destinations. And then, of course, the trails: natural, long, unexpected and fun…. Enough to keep you smiling right into the following week!

Itineraries

Day 1

Finale Ligure - Valcasotto

On the first day we will leave Finale Ligure and we will travel up Colle Melogno in the van; afterwards, we will begin our journey riding both on exciting trails and through old historical hamlets, such as Calizzano, Garessio e Valdinferno. An adventure which will lead us to the discovery of the Ligurian outback, still unknown to many, and the southern parts of Piemonte with its wonderful trails. Once we reach Valcasotto, we will stop for the night; the accommodation is an old restored mill where we will find our luggage and have the opportunity to taste some delicious local specialities The overnight stay is arranged in cosy and comfortable double rooms.

Day 2

Valcasotto - Valcasotto

Today we will spend our day discovering an area of Piedmont little known but of great charm. We will reach some panoramic peaks between Val Corsaglia and Casotto, sites of historical battles during the Napoleonic era. A day of pure fun on our e-mountain bikes with a great selection of trails where to test yourself both uphill and downhill.

Day 3

Valcasotto - Finale Ligure

On the third day we will start our journey back to Finale Ligure with a great with a sequence of fun single tracks. Last but not least, we will pedal up to hillside of Monte Carmo, the highest peak of the area with 360 degree views stretching right to the Alps and Corsica. It’s now time for a long and fun descent that will take us back to the sea. What better place to finish our three days trip with a good ice cream or a cold beer?
