“As real as it gets” as in English. Here the real Alpine tour. High altitude trails, where technical skills and fatigue blend with a truly unique panorama and a concentration of unrepeatable culture and history.

Years of exploration, conquest and adventure, three nations, one journey. All of this for an unmissable riding adventure and a trip that every rider who can call themselves such, should do at least once.
With His Majesty Mont Blanc watching over each of the riders on this tour, every day, designed and tested down to the smallest detail, is an exploration and a conquest. Not to mention that for safety reasons (and a bit of comfort) the shuttle assistance and luggage transport will be with you every day.

By relying on a company of professional MTB and E-MTB Guides like MTB Guide XP we have developed a perfect combination: riding will be the master but you will have the opportunity to enjoy every line, trail, peak, view, dinner and moment.
You just think about this, leave the rest to us!

The 6 day program:

Itineraries

Day 0

Arrival in Courmayeur

Welcome to the Aosta Valley, specifically to the slopes of his Majesty Mont Blanc. Check-in and hotel accommodation: here the adventure begins. Dinner (typically Aosta Valley) with the Guide will be the moment to clarify possible questions and conclude the briefing for the following days. Already with the Mont Blanc chain observing from above, the preparation and the night will be the first of many memories collected in the following days

Day 1

Courmayeur - Roseland Lake

And here is the real start of the tour. A long steady climb up to the Col de la Seigne through coniferous forests, glacial lakes and very close glaciers will be the prelude to a fabulous single-track until lunch and a first crossing into French territory. The morning will already allow you to shake off the rust and taste the adventure of the days of touring. An easier afternoon will end in a typical French refuge with a dinner made on the stove, local cheeses and soup.

Day 2

Roselend Lake - Voza Pass

After a hearty breakfast we immediately get into the heart of our second day of adventure. A first climb on a dirt road to the Col de la Sauce and a breathtaking ridge in front of the Bianco will take us to the Refuge du Col de la Croix du Bonhomme. A well-deserved break. From this moment on, the following two hours will be dedicated to pure alpine single-track: technical rock sections, steep sections, pedaled parts and, occasionally, encouragement from some hikers on the route.
Lunch at the bottom of the valley and then tackle the last climb on a dirt road between mountain pastures up to Col de Voza, accommodation for the second night of the tour.

Day 3

Col de Voza - Col de Balme

From hill to hill, enjoying the beautiful Chamonix valley, the B side of the Mont Blanc chain, a place of passion, adventure, love for the Mountain and a centuries-old history of conquests. After a fantastic downhill trail traced by hand on soft earth, roots and pine needles to Les Houches, we will cross the entire valley stopping in the village for lunch. We will end the day with two mechanized chairlift rides to the hyper-panoramic Col de Balme, also bordering Switzerland.

Day 4

Col de Balme - The Fouly

Today we start to turn the corner and head home. Two natural and steep single-tracks downhill will be the key to the day. To reach them, as you will know by now, two challenging climbs will dominate. All this, however, framed by a valley that could not be more Swiss. Not everyone can say they have cycled in a postcard. You can.
We will discover a steep and majestic side of the Mont Blanc chain, in the presence of a towering Aiguille des Glaciers and quiet glaciers.

Day 5

The Fouly - Courmayeur

The day begins in the direction of home. The legs are tired from four days of cycling but the anticipation of the most beautiful day of the tour makes everything clearer. After a long climb towards the Grand Col Ferret (2490m) we are back in Italy. Here is the Val Ferret that opens up in front of us and the exact line that we will follow for the rest of the day. Next stop: Rifugio Bonatti. And from here a long single-track to reach an altitude of 2650m. The day ends with exactly 1h of flow trail and at times steep downhill and the five days that have passed seem like a month of time spent between valleys and majestic peaks.

When dinner time comes, what better occasion to gather in front of a plate of polenta concia or fondue and toast to the fabulous experiences of the past week with friends we have met or recently found.

Day 6

Relax

A well-deserved day of relaxation at the Prè-Saint-Didier spa, a bit of shopping and good food! Just what you need to recharge after an Alpine tour of this level!
